Toxic Tease is a playful and bold take on our Lotus Leotard, designed with performance and comfort in mind.
Each piece is made to order and crafted using our carefully sourced Korean gilded velvet, a medium weight fabric that offers beautiful stretch, softness, and durability. This is a fabric I spent a long time searching for, and I chose it because it feels supportive on the body while still moving naturally with you.
The princess seams and panelled design is shaped to flatter and support, with black side panels for balance and shaping, a soft ruffle skirt that tapers at the front and gets longer at the back for gentle movement. The high collar, keyhole front, and handmade frog detail are small touches that reflect the East-meets-West style I love bringing into Bubble Bum pieces.
Because every leotard is made especially for you, each one receives close attention from fabric cutting to final finishing. These are not mass produced, and small variations are part of what makes each piece special.
This style is designed for aerialists, hoopers, dancers, and performers who want something a little different, while still feeling comfortable and confident in their costume.

Craft & Collaboration
Renjie is a full-time member of the Bubble Bum team and has been making our garments for over seven years.
Over time, our collaboration has grown into a shared creative language, blending both of our cultures and approaches to design. Alongside my design direction, Renjie contributes her deep knowledge of construction, balance, and traditional detailing, shaping the intricate finishes that define this piece.
I am deeply proud that our work together now allows Renjie to focus solely on making Bubble Bum garments. It has taken time, trust, and years of working side by side to arrive here, and each piece reflects that journey.
