Shipping and Returns

My Bubble Bum makes made-to-order and limited ready-to-ship pieces. Here's exactly what to expect when you order.

1. Dispatch times

Ready-to-ship orders placed before 2pm (Irish time) on a business day ship the same day. Orders placed after 2pm ship the next business day.

Made-to-order pieces are made just for you and usually take 2 to 4 weeks to make, plus shipping.

2. Duties and taxes (DDP)

We ship to Europe, the UK, the US and Australia Delivered Duties Paid (DDP). The price you see at checkout is your final total, with no customs fees, import taxes or surprise charges on delivery.

For all other countries, local duties and taxes may be charged on arrival and are paid by the customer.

3. Estimated delivery times

Once dispatched, average delivery times are:

• Ireland and United Kingdom: 5 to 9 working days
• Europe: 7 to 14 working days
• United States and Canada: 7 to 14 working days
• Australia and New Zealand: 8 to 16 working days
• Asia: 7 to 12 working days
• Middle East: 8 to 15 working days

We ship worldwide. If your country isn't listed, contact us and we'll give you an estimate before you order.

4. Shipping costs

Every order ships tracked. The price depends on where it's going and the total weight of your order, and most single pieces fall in the first band.

China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia: €15. India: €20. For bigger orders, your exact shipping price is shown at checkout before you pay. Customers in remote areas may occasionally need an extra courier surcharge, and we'll contact you for approval before dispatching.

5. Christmas and peak season

For Christmas delivery, order made-to-order pieces by 20 November. Ready-to-ship pieces can be ordered until 28 November (Australia, NZ and rest of world), 1 December (Europe, US and Canada) or 10 December (Ireland and the UK). Ordering for Christmas? Add a note at checkout and we'll move yours up the queue where we can. Couriers get very busy in December, so delivery dates can't be guaranteed. If you have a fixed date or event, order early or choose a ready-to-ship piece.

6. Tracking

Every order ships by tracked courier. If your tracking hasn't updated for several days, contact us and we'll request a detailed scan from our delivery partner.

7. Insurance and lost parcels

Every parcel is fully insured. If the courier confirms a parcel wasn't delivered, or our investigation shows it's lost, we'll send a replacement or a full refund.

8. Returns

Ready-to-ship and standard-size made-to-order pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are:

• Unworn
• Unwashed
• In original condition with tags attached

These can't be returned unless faulty:

• Build-A-Bum™ designs
• Pieces made to your own measurements or custom designs
• Snatch sale items (final sale)

Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty. Please email hello@mybubblebum.com before sending anything back.

9. Faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

10. Foiled and gilded velvet

The metallic foil on our foiled and gilded velvets reacts to perfume, hairspray, sprays, lotions and other chemicals, which can change its colour. Changes caused by contact with these products aren't a fault. See our Wash Care page for full instructions.
