Caring for your My Bubble Bum pieces

Stretch cotton and stretch velvet

Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle or by hand. No tumble dryer, no bleach and no fabric softener. Hang or lay flat to dry.

Foiled and gilded velvet

Foiled velvet needs extra love. The metallic foil reacts to chemicals, and contact can change its colour or dull the shine.

Keep perfume, hairspray, body sprays, glitter sprays, fake tan, lotions and oils well away from the foil.
Rinse by hand in cold water only. No detergent, no fabric softener, no bleach.
Rinse soon after a sweaty session or performance.
Don't wring, twist or rub the fabric together. Gently press out the water and lay flat to dry.
No tumble dryer, no iron and no direct heat.

Like all foiled fabrics, the foil will soften gradually with wear and washing, which is part of its character. Changes caused by contact with sprays, perfumes or chemicals aren't a fault, so please take care.
